We had an absolutely amazing time with our hosts Marija and Zlatko in their lovely home. The meal was served outside under their grapevine roofed patio. To begin we were served a variety of typical Croatian foods, including the best prosciutto my daughter and I have ever had, cheeses, homemade wines and liqueurs and delicious homemade bread. The main course, Peka (a lamb and potato dish cooked a unique way), was prepared by Zlatko on an outdoor barbecue and was the best tasting “Peka” we had in Croatia. The relaxing dinner was topped off with a traditional Croatian dessert that we had not tasted anywhere else.t be disappointed.

Highlight of Croatia!! Dinner with locals was absolutely fantastic!! The food and drinks were traditional but a unique experience and the company was amazing. Hamo set this up and Marija was a great host!! Check them out in NatGeo!! Wouldn’t go back to Croatia WITHOUT getting more fresh prosciutto from Marija!
