Dubrovnik Food Tours FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions With Respective Answers

Can I join as solo traveler?

As a solo traveler you can join our tours. We do require at least two guests for a tour to take place, we certainly don’t discriminate against solo travelers. If you’re the only person booked on a tour, we’ll switch you to another time or tour (if possible) or we’ll provide a single tour.
 

What languages are available for the tour?

Tours are available in English. For larger groups or private events, we can adapt the tour in Spanish, German, Italian or French.
 

How much walking is involved?

Old Town Food Tour – we walk about a 1.3 kilometers with few resting points.
Dalmatian Flavors – with all locations combined, 1 km
 

Can I book a different time?

Please send us an email or use Booking Inquiry.

Absolutely, our reviews are outstanding, we treat our guests like family.
 

Is the tour kid friendly?

Children of all ages can take one of our tours. We provide family friendly tours for families with children.
 

Are tour guides gratuities included in the price?

If you had a good tour, gratuities – although not mandatory – are appreciated.
 

Can I change tour date and time?

In case of any delays or changes in travel, please let us know. We will reschedule the tour for the next day or any date that suits you the best.
 

Can I book a private tour?

Yes, private tours are available for small parties or groups of up to 30 people. To inquire about a private tour, please fill out the contact form.
 

Can we see Game of Thrones filming locations?

If you curious about the series, we will show some of the key spots where filming took place within Old Town.
 

Wait list for sold out tours?

We don’t have a wait list, but if you do see a tour that’s sold out, please email us and we’ll try to accommodate you.
 

Photos during the tour?

Yes! We encourage you to take photos and if you feel so inclined, post them to our social media page at Facebook, tag us on Twitter and Instagram, or include them in your review of Dubrovnik Food Tours on TripAdvisor or Google. Note: by sending us a photo, you grant us permission to display it on our various sites for promotional purposes.
 

What if we have bad weather?

Our food tours take place, rain or shine. If it is really bad weather, tour can be postponed for the next day or fully refunded.
 

What type of food is served?

We aim to provide traditional food from our region.
 

Enough food served on the tours?

The combined samples are intended to be enough to replace a bigger meal, and satisfy most.
 

What drinks are included?

A selection of alcoholic beverages (including local beer and authentic wines), soft drinks, choice of sparkling or still water, coffee.
 

What about dietary restrictions or allergies?

Tastings will be prepared in advance at each location based on the info that you provide. Please let us know of an dietary restrictions when booking or send us inquiry.
 

Payment options?

You may pay through our system using all major Credit cards and PayPal or send us inquiry regarding different payment options.
 

How to receive purchased tickets?

All tickets purchased are emailed directly to you in digital form. If you have not received your tickets yet, we are happy to resend.
 

Do you provide full refund?

If you can’t make it to the tour you purchased, the tickets are transferable or refundable. For the full refund, we require a notice at least 12 hours prior to tour start
 

Secure payments?

We use EzTix, worldwide trusted online payment booking system. Data sent using HTTPS is secured via Transport Layer Security protocol (TLS), which provides three key layers of protection on our website.
 

How to use Gift Certificates?

Your E-Certificate should contain a code. Simply enter that code in the Discount Code/E-Certificate field during the booking and checkout process.
